\n This work reimagines the legendary origin of \u201ctoast.\u201d\n<\/p>\n\n

\n A visionary inventor, obsessed with the idea of alchemizing bread into gold, captures the attention of the king. Upon hearing the rumor, the king summons him and demands that he present his miraculous machine at the palace within two weeks.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n When the appointed day arrives, the inventor brings not gold, but a loaf of bread baked in an oven until it gleams with a golden hue. As the court anticipates his failure, the king slices a piece and takes a bite.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n To everyone\u2019s surprise, he is deeply satisfied. The flavor, he declares, is worth far more than gold itself.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n And thus, toast is born \u2014 not as treasure forged from metal, but as golden delight created through craft and heat.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>

In a small-town bakery, there lives an unassuming croissant. One day, it spots a poster announcing a bakery beauty contest and dreams of participating. However, its ambition is met with ridicule from the other breads, leaving it discouraged and doubtful.<\/p>\n

Late at night, when the bakery falls silent and the croissant stands alone, it notices a bag of Lien Hwa flour nearby. Printed on it are the words: \u201cPremium Quality, Remarkable Transformation.\u201d<\/em> Inspired by this message, the croissant leaps into the flour. A radiant beam of light appears \u2014 and a miraculous transformation begins.<\/p>\n

On the day of the competition, the croissant steps onto the stage in a brand-new, irresistibly delicious form, astonishing both the audience and the judges. It ultimately wins the championship title.<\/p>\n

This victory not only fulfills the croissant\u2019s dream but also revitalizes the bakery\u2019s reputation. The croissant\u2019s courage and transformation become legendary, inspiring other breads to follow its path. As a result, the bakery flourishes once again.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

To his surprise, what emerges is not just bread, but a steamed bun with egg \u2014 a flavor deeply rooted in his childhood memories. Instantly, he is transported back to moments shared with his grandmother.<\/p>\n

Could this machine possess a mysterious magic \u2014 one that dispenses not only food, but cherished memories?<\/p><\/div><\/div>

\n After discovering the magic behind the bread, Xiao-Zhen decides to carry on the familiar warmth and flavor, preserving the legacy of her grandfather through every loaf she bakes.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>

\n Under the influence of information, we respond differently depending on what we receive. With the rise of new media, the interaction between communicators and recipients has become increasingly dynamic, and human relationships are now saturated with layers of visible and invisible influence.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n Beginning from digital media, we explore this interdependent relationship through the theme \u201cWAIT! Between Us.\u201d<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n

\n The visual tension of the exclamation mark, combined with the commanding tone of \u201cWAIT!\u201d, invites people in this fast-paced era to pause \u2014 to reflect on the intangible forces we exert upon one another.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n Through digital media works created by each student, words are translated into images, and influence becomes visible. We hope to awaken awareness among exhibition viewers \u2014 encouraging self-examination and inspiring meaningful engagement with society.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
